Bulletin 21 October 23rd – November 5th 2025
Dear Residents
This may seem obvious, but a large proportion of thefts would appear to be from unlocked vehicles.
Always check the vehicle is locked and the windows are up after using a key fob. Listen for the locking noise and watch for the lights to flash, or where fitted, mirrors folding.
This can also provide reassurance that criminals have not blocked the locking signal from your fob using a jammer.
For more tips and advice on vehicle security, visit https://www.surrey.police.uk/cp/crime-prevention/keeping-vehicles-safe/preventing-car-vehicle-theft
Finally you will see at the end of this Bulletin we have updated the list of your Safer Neighbourhood Team contacts who cover Tandridge Borough and who are supported by the Neighbourhood Patrol Team dealing with Response Calls 24/7.
